What does it take to invent a whole new clothing line?
By P.J. Beaumont, Co-creator of Tactical Pajamas
It’s been a long journey to bring Tactical Pajamas to market. For nearly three years, I’ve been tracking down pattern designers, fabric manufacturers, buttons, elastic, and factories. That last one was especially tough, as many U.S. factories are overloaded. But I managed to find one with great and talented sewing people in Philadelphia.
Getting the systems in place is always the most important aspect of any new enterprise. The sewing factory now knows how to sew the garments, we have the right elastic (that’s harder to track down and specify than I thought it would be), the fabric manufacturer knows our colors and specifications, and we learned the best ways to ship things from many parts of the world.
As with any new innovation, it can take a while for people to understand what it’s all about. Tactical Pajamas aren’t your normal sleepwear. As one of our testers said, “When I put them on, I feel like I can do anything, including just lounge around all day. I don’t have to worry about them at all!”
Tough, comfortable, and made in the U.S.A., Tactical Pajamas “Firehouse Lounge” edition is made to live in. Try a pair today. They come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
