Did I accidentally invent the world's best camping pants?
By P.J. Beaumont, Co-creator of Tactical Pajamas
My wife and I love to go camping. When my kids were growing up, every summer they got to experience the wonder of seeing the famous wild ponies of Assateague Island munch their way through our campsite. If you can manage to snag a reservation at either the state or national campground on Assateague Island, I highly recommend it. Good luck, though, as they fill up quickly each year.
The day before we were due to leave for a camping trip this fall, the final test samples of Tactical Pajamas arrived from the factory. I decided to take them along, to see how they would do.
To make a long story short, I was delightfully surprised. In the morning I could just roll out of the sleeping bag and fire up the stove to make breakfast on the picnic table. I had no concerns that the Tactical Pajamas would be abraded by the tough wood of the bench seats, and the chill morning air didn’t work its way through the heavy fabric.
When I headed to the wash room at night, the pajamas protected me from the branches and sticker bushes I encountered on the path through the woods. I could put my flashlight in the pockets, along with my cell phone.
As I snuggled up in the sleeping bag, the pajamas were comfortable and yet didn’t ride up.
In fact, they were so practical to wear that the only time I changed into other clothes was when we went sightseeing or shopping.
Try a pair. You might never want to take them off.
